Rotary of Southeast to Host Tasting Fundraiser Benefiting Relay For Life

Brewster, NY – The Rotary of Southeast is proud to announce an exciting community Tasting Event Fundraiser on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 5:30 PM at Ace Endico, located at 80 International Blvd., Brewster, NY 10509.

This special evening will feature live culinary creations by local favorites John and Paul Aversano from Aversano's restaurant, who will prepare guests’ favorite tastes of Italy in an engaging and interactive setting. Guests will enjoy a delicious variety of food and beverages while supporting a meaningful cause. (Please note: Alcohol will not be permitted or sold at this event.)

Tickets are $75 per person, and all proceeds will be donated to Relay For Life in honor of Paul and John’s mother, Adeline. The event supports the mission of the American Cancer Society to help save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

“This event is about community, family, and coming together for a cause that touches so many lives,” said Barbara Evans, past president of the Rotary of Southeast. “We’re honored to support Relay For Life in tribute to Adeline and to partner with incredible local businesses to make this evening special.”

The event will be held inside the retail store at Ace Endico. Guests are encouraged to follow posted signs for parking upon arrival.

Rotary District 7210 District Governor Beau O'Loendorf is incredibly excited and proud to share that we received three awards at this past fall’s Zone Training!

First, we were honored for our outstanding support of The Rotary Foundation, earning recognition for having the highest percentage of EREY (Every Rotarian Every Year) participation among clubs in the 2024-25 Rotary year. This is such a meaningful achievement. Our commitment to giving reflects our understanding of the tremendous impact the Foundation has — from supporting global grants and clean water projects to advancing peace initiatives and the fight to eradicate polio. Because of your generosity, lives are being changed both locally and around the world.

In addition to our Foundation recognition, we received two growth awards celebrating the formation of a new Rotaract Club and a new Satellite Club during the 2024–25 Rotary year. Growth is a sign of a vibrant, forward-moving club, and these accomplishments show that we are not only sustaining Rotary — we are strengthening it for the future. Welcoming new members and creating new opportunities for engagement ensures that our service and fellowship continue to thrive.

District Governor Beau stated “These awards belong to every one of you. Your dedication, enthusiasm, leadership, and willingness to serve are what make achievements like this possible. Together, we are building momentum and making a real difference”.

This global day of generosity is an opportunity for all members to make a big impact with a gift of any size. Rotary of Southeast collected over 100 jackets on Saturday and our Coat drive kick off. We are still collecting. All coats may be dropped off at Brewster Shell until the end of the month. Feel free to drop them by or contact a Rotarian. Thanks to all who donated!!!
