A huge thank you to our wonderful partner, Baptists On Mission, for building a new house for a Transylvania family whose home was destroyed by Hurricane Helene. ❤️

A special shoutout to our team member, Mick Galloway and Disaster Services Corporation's program, House in a Box, for helping fill the house with beautiful furniture and the essentials to make it feel like home.

Partners like these make it possible for our neighbors to finally begin rebuilding, settling in, and finding their way back to a sense of home after Helene.

We are so grateful for the organizations, volunteers, and donors who continue to show up for Transylvania County families. Together, we’re helping our community rebuild, one home at a time. 🏡

What a great day of site visits with Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC)! They drove a long way to connect with our community partners, discuss technology solutions for community resilience, and tour Anchor Baptist Church.
