Over the last few weeks local organizations came together to help refresh Transylvania County Schools classrooms before the start of the school year and we want to say a big THANK YOU!

This project wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of volunteers from SparkPoint, Pisgah Forest Rotary, Good Trouble Transylvania, Dogwood Health Trust and Looking Glass Realty. Your time, energy and commitment are making a meaningful difference for our students and educators.
A special thanks from TSCEF to the local Sherwin-Williams paint store for their generous discount for the project.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming educators from across Transylvania County to a restorative retreat at the stunning The Horse Shoe Farm. ❤️
It was truly remarkable to witness the transformation in their mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being as they were given the time and space to pause, reconnect, and recharge.
As we approach the start of a new school year, our hope is that the nearly 60 educators who participated in either this retreat or our first session in June will carry that sense of restoration with them throughout the year, remembering to honor their own needs, make space for rest, and prioritize their well-being so they can continue bringing their very best to the children of our community.
A heartfelt thank you to Lauren and Rebecca for leading such a meaningful and inspiring experience. We are grateful for the care you poured into our educators!

Stuff the Bus is THIS WEEK! Help us kick off the school year right by donating student school supplies all week to .

Donations will be collected TODAY, August 10th through August 14th at the Morris Education Center, 225 Rosenwald Ln- just look for the big yellow school bus!

Public school champions and organizations across the county are working to make sure every student has what they need to succeed, and this is just another way to come together and get supplies to our students. Everything helps!

Stuff the Bus starts next week! Drop off school supplies including markers, pencils, earbuds, composition notebooks and glue sticks to the bus parked outside the Morris Education Center from August 10-14th.

Help us Stuff The Bus!
From August 10th through August 14th, we're inviting our community to help Transylvania County Schools by donating new school supplies at the school bus parked outside the Morris Education Center, located at 225 Rosenwald.

Every donation, big or small, helps students walk into the classroom with the tools they need to succeed.

We're collecting all school supplies, but there's an especially great need for:
✏️ Pencils
🖍️ Markers
🧴 Glue sticks
📚 Binders
🧼 Hand sanitizer
📁 Pocket folders
🎒 Backpacks
📓 Composition notebooks
🎧 Corded earbuds

Whether you're a family picking up a few extra items, a local business organizing a supply drive, or a civic group looking to give back, your generosity will make a direct impact on students right here in Transylvania County.

This community-wide effort is made possible through a partnership between Transylvania County Schools and the Transylvania County Schools Educational Foundation, and together, we can help every student start the school year with confidence.

Today we dropped off almost $2,000 worth of supplies for our Teacher Supply Closet! Many thanks to our partners and supporters for helping us to stock this closet before school begins.
