"Snoopy is warming up to our house very well, and has claimed my own office as his stomping grounds! While we are slowly working on integration with our other 18 year old cat Hemi, Snoopy has begun exploring the house, but prefers to cuddle in bed and lounge in the sun." -Hayden & Annie

Charles is this week's Staff Favorite! Reyna, our Pet Pals Camp Supervisor, has chosen this handsome 12-year-old lilac point with a heart of gold and exactly zero teeth. What he lacks in teeth, he more than makes up for in affection. This sweet senior loves attention, enjoys being doted on, and is always happy to spend time with his favorite people. If you're looking for a gentle, loving companion with a one-of-a-kind smile, stop by HOV to meet Charles Tues.-Sun. 12pm-5pm!

You can help raise money to help cats and dogs this summer with a kid’s fundraiser! We love our young supporters who help homeless cats and dogs with lemonade stands and other creative ideas.

If you know a young person who would like to participate, contact Kelly at [email protected] or 406-404-3070 for a kid’s fundraiser toolkit including a HOV cash bank, stickers and "name a pet" certificate.

Find out how kids 6 and older can get involved with our volunteer program and more at: https://www.heartofthevalleyshelter.org/just-for-kids/. Request a shelter tour by contacting [email protected].

Each year, more than 900 kittens come through our doors, and we need your help to keep their tiny tummies full and growing strong. Right now, we are especially in need of Fancy Feast Kitten Pâté.

You can support our kittens by purchasing donations through our Amazon Wishlist or by dropping off items purchased from your favorite local stores. Every can makes a difference and helps provide the care these little ones deserve.

Thank you for helping us give our kittens the best possible start in life!

Leo is this week's Staff Favorite! Iris has chosen this 1-year-old people-loving goofball with enough energy to power a small city. Leo loves adventure, hiking, fetch marathons, and spontaneous backyard wrestling matches with squeaky toys. If you're looking for a best friend who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and love you with his whole goofy heart, stop by HOV to meet Leo Tues.-Sun. 12pm-5pm!

Heart of the Valley license plates are a great way to show your support for the lost and surrendered pets of our community. Funds raised from license plate sales are used to provide compassionate shelter care, medical care, spay/neutering, and adoption services, as well as education and community outreach!
Next time you renew your plates, please consider supporting your local animal shelter!
