From the Farmacy | Halloween Edition 🎃
This Halloween, skip the candy aisle and try a treat that’s just as sweet, but a whole lot more nourishing.
Mamachi’s Homemade Chocolate is a rich, velvety family favorite named after Mackenzie herself, affectionately called Mamachi by those who love her most.
It’s quick to make, endlessly customizable (yes, add the nuts), and always a crowd-pleaser at the ranch.
Ingredients
½ cup coconut oil, melted
½ cup raw cacao powder
3–4 Tbsp honey (adjust to taste)
Nuts of your choice (optional)
A pinch of sea salt flakes
Directions
Melt coconut oil over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in honey.
Gradually sift cacao powder into the mixture, stirring until smooth.
Pour onto a parchment-lined 8x8 baking dish.
Sprinkle with nuts and sea salt if desired.
Refrigerate 30 minutes–1 hour, until set and firm.
Break it apart, serve it up, and enjoy a Halloween treat that proves healthier options can be the sweetest.
