His Great Uncle, Fleming Mason, was the Commander of the South Carolina Highway Patrol and worked for the FBI; his Great Aunt was a Federal Judge in Columbia, South Carolina; his Uncle was an ATF agent and Mason's brother is a Federal Law Enforcement Officer. Mason gra

duated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. He started his Law Enforcement career at the University of South Carolina Police Department, He then worked at Lexington County Sheriff's Office, Clarendon County Sheriff's Office, Motor Carrier Services in Montana and Broadwater County Sheriff's Office. In his career Mason trained other law enforcement officers, he served on the Alcohol Enforcement team, Supervised other officers, and was an Investigator. While serving as an Investigator he was responsible for obtaining the confession of a double murderer. This confession was instrumental in ensuring a guilty verdict. Mason was happiest when he was patroling. He liked to be out being proactive and trying to help prevent crime. As you can tell I am very proud of him and his accomplishments and love and miss him very much!

This Memorial Day, the Mason Moore Foundation stands with gratitude for the sacrifices made by so many heroes and their families. Their courage, service, and legacy will never be forgotten.
