This Veteran waited 40 years for benefits and was constantly denied. Improper VSO service work, or not being educated on how the system really works is what causes these kinds of delays.
Once I was able to understand the overall history of the Veteran, we used his medical evidence, lay statements, and collecting medical evidence from private doctors - we were able to build his case and after 40 years of denials, we end up at 80 percent, and still have 3 more conditions to wait for a decision on. Im confident I’ll get him there.
If you have had troubles with the VA, been constantly denied compensation although you are still suffering, haven’t even filed at all, or had bad experiences with other Veteran service officer organizations - we are the life line at the end of the rope. 100 percent is not obtainable for everyone. 70 percent however is much easier to reach, which puts you in priority one treatment and you’ll never pay a medical or pharmaceutical bill again.
