Exciting News! Boys Town Named a 2025 Nebraska Passport Stop!

We’re thrilled to announce that the Boys Town Hall of History Museum has been selected as a stop on the 2025 Nebraska Passport.
From May 1 through September 30, travelers can explore Nebraska’s hidden gems, collect stamps and experience the rich history of our state—including the inspiring story of Boys Town.

Once again, there are 10 themed tours, taking Passporters across the state. This year features historic treasures, female-powered businesses and a tour dedicated to showing off Nebraska’s thriving Creative Districts. There are some surprises in store too!

Did you know that when you visit the Boys Town home campus each December you can take part in our Irish Christmas at Boys Town? Step back in time and see Father Flanagan's Historic Home decorated for an Irish Christmas in the year 1929!

Did you know that when you visit the Gift Shop on Boys Town's home campus you can see the World's Largest Ball of Postage Stamps? Featured in Ripley's Believe It or Not, this one-of-a-kind ball weighs in at 600 pounds and is comprised of an estimated 6,550,000 postage stamps! Lore has it that the core of the giant wonder is a GOLF BALL which the boys began wrapping stamps around in the 1950s! The starburst wall mural behind the Ball of Stamps was also created by one of our alumni and is made entirely of canceled postage stamps. Come see these Philatelic marvels and grab a souvenir to commemorate your visit!
