At the January board meeting, the NMEA Board of Directors approved implementing a participation fee of $25 per high school student accepted into an All-State ensemble for the 2026 Conference & All-State Festival. This is in addition to the existing $25 audition fee.

Rationale: As the costs associated with hosting the annual Conference & All-State Festival continue to increase, the Board has approved this additional fee to ensure we can maintain the high-quality experience you and your students expect. This procedure is also used by other honor ensembles around the state, as well as for our Middle Level All-State auditioned groups.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of NMEA and its programs.
