🍂 Starting October 26 through December 4, the City of Omaha will offer six weeks of free curbside collection for paper yardwaste bags, and the material collected will be composted!

During this period, yardwaste will be collected separately on your regular collection day and stickers will not be required for paper yardwaste bags. (*Stickers are always required for bundles of brush). See details and restrictions at Wasteline.org.

🍂 Other options for excess yardwaste:
-- The Oma-Gro composting facility at 6502 S 60th Street (60th & Harrison) will accept self-hauled yardwaste from residents at no charge. Be sure to check hours and restrictions before you go at OmaGro.com
-- Yardwaste can also be placed in your black-lid garbage cart at any time of year, however it will not be composted.

🎃Montclair, Trendwood, Parkside & Georgetowne Halloween Display Map 👻

Hi Neighbors! One of the great things about our neighborhood are all of the festive holiday decorations. MTPG Neighborhood won’t be conducting a fall cleanup, but there will be an opportunity to dispose of items at Harvey Oaks Elementary on October 3rd.

Fall cleanup is when Omaha residents can get rid of bulky items that don't fit in their cart. It's free and a joint effort between the City, Keep Omaha Beautiful inc., and the participating neighborhood organizations.

📰We’re gearing up to send out our Fall Neighborhood Newsletter and we are looking for community businesses to advertise.📰

For $100, you can advertise your business to around 1,500 households in our neighborhoods. Community advertisements helps to offset the cost of the newsletter, ensuring your donations go further to support the MTPG Neighborhood Association.
