We're here at the Nebraska Tourism Conference kicking off the promotion of the 33rd Annual Nebraska Star Party being held July 12th through the 17th at Merritt Reservoir.

We stopped by Explore Scientific today in Springdale, AR and had a great visit with dear friends, Scott Roberts and Kent Marts! They, and the rest of the Explore Scientific staff, have been amazing supporters of the Nebraska Star Party for many years! Today is July 1st, the last day to take advantage of the "Early Bird" pricing discounts registration for this year's Nebraska Star Party!! Adult pricing goes from $60 to $75 and children under 12 from $15 to $20. Sing up today if you plan on attending!

A couple of updates concerning the upcoming Nebraska Star Party to be held from July 20th thru the 25th third year. First, just a reminder that the "early bird" registration will end on July 1st. Beat the deadline and save!! Adult registration is $60 up to the first, after that it goes to $75.

Second, we have added a separate category for the Astrophotography contest. For the 32nd Annual Nebraska Star Party Astrophotography Contest the categories will be:

1.Wide Field
2.Deep Sky
3.Solar System
4.Taken at NSP
5.Electronic Assisted Imaging (such Seestar's, Origin, Unistellar. etc., scopes)
