Our teachers do so much for our students, and we want to show them a little extra love!

What is Jacket Pride Spotlight?

Jacket Pride Spotlight is a special way for students and parents to recognize Boyd ISD teachers who make a difference! When a teacher is selected from the nominations, PTO will surprise them with gifts and goodies as a small token of appreciation for all they do!

💛 PARENTS, WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Take a moment to ask your student:

“Which teacher would YOU like to nominate for Jacket Pride Spotlight?”

Whether it’s a teacher who makes them smile, encourages them, or simply makes school a place they enjoy being, we want to help recognize those who make a difference!

🖤 Help us spread some Jacket Pride and give our amazing teachers the extra love they deserve!

Submit your teacher nomination using the Google Form!

Once a month, PTO will surprise 2 deserving staff members with gifts, nominated by you. Let us know which staff member you feel deserves some extra love & attention from PTO. You may nominate any staff member including: Teachers, Paraprofessionals, Office Staff, Cafeteria Workers, and/or Janitorial....

Jackets have a turnaround time of roughly 3 weeks once the order is placed. Orders will be sent home with students once they have been received. If you DO NOT have a student at BIMS, order pickup will be at the BIMS office. Youth sizes: $35 Adult sizes: $40

🌮 A huge thank you to Margaritas for catering lunch for our staff today! 💛 We truly appreciate your generosity and for helping us show our teachers and staff a little extra love.

If you haven’t checked them out yet, Margarita's Mexican Restaurant is currently located in Justin, TX 📍 and they’ll be opening a second location in Paradise soon! 🎉

🌿🐝 HELP US TRANSFORM THE BIMS COURTYARD! 🐝🌿

We’re getting ready to give our courtyard a much-needed transformation and create a space our students and staff can enjoy — and we’d love the help of our Yellow Jacket community! 💛🖤

For our Courtyard Project, we’re looking for donations or assistance with the following supplies:

🪨 2 tons of gravel (possible donor)
🌱 25 bags of compost
🪨 10 – 16” stones
🪴 15 – 1-gallon plants
🌿 1 roll (300 ft.) w**d barrier
🧱 35 Windsor stones
📏 5 – 8 ft. pieces of metal edging
📌 1 pack (100 count) landscape staples

We could also use tools & work supplies:
• Wheelbarrows
• Shovels
• 20–30 pairs of work gloves

Whether you’re able to donate supplies, lend us equipment, or know a local business that may be willing to help, we would greatly appreciate the support!

💛 Let’s completely transform this space for our BIMS students and staff!
