On November 25th at 6:15 am we lost another good veteran. Bob Robertson, USMC, Vietnam veteran. He was always willing to help. He will be greatly missed. Prayers for his family for peace and comfort.

Happy Thanksgiving to all veterans and their families. Many blessings to these great men and women who have or are serving our great nation. Comfort and peace to their families who so often are spending these holiday season alone while their veteran is deployed. It is with a very heavy and sad heart that I share the news of the passing of a very good friend, army veteran, police officer, Jason Debord. He will be missed by so many.
Blessed be to them in the next world and to their family and friends who remember them. May their journey be peaceful, may they fly to the Angels. They will live on in our memories and our hearts. May God wrap you in his protective arms, take you in his healing hands and guide you through this time of sorrow with his love, mercy and grace. Prayers for peace and comfort in your time of sorrow.
Remember death is a heartache no one can heal, but love is a memory no one can steal.

it is such an honor to be asked again this year to be part of the reading of the Constitution on Wednesday, Sept 17, 2025 @ the Wise County Veterans Park in Decatur.

it is with deep sadness that I post the passing of one of our members. Rocky Carl Boven SR., Vietnam vet, USA, 68-70. He was B 2/7 1st Cav airmobile. While he lived in Florida, he was a member of the Rhome Veterans from the first year. He was also my brother-in-law and one of the main reasons I joined the Navy.
