Three weeks from tonight, nearly 70 formerly homeless adults will be honored as the latest class of Ready to Work program graduates and we will celebrate them with dinner and go-home baskets filled with the basics needed to start out.

Bridge House has a decades-long relationship with Boulder's Har Hashem, so we were thrilled when they asked Ready to Work crews to build a Sukkah for the recent is week-long Jewish festival of Sukkot.

A year ago this week Community Table Kitchen catered the annual Buffalo Bicycle Classic. Multiple course locations, thousands of potatoes (who knew!). Afterwards, 1,400 cyclists, fans, volunteers converging on campus.

We couldn't have done this work, and other events like it, alone.

Businesses trusted us with their meetings. Organizations trusted us with their events. Families invited us into their celebrations. Non profit partners helped us feed the community. Customers recommended us, returned to us, and belied in the mission behind every meal.

To every organization, venue, vendor, and individual who chose CTK; thank you.

From boxed lunches and catered celebrations to cafe favorites, take-and-bake meals, and thousands of Community Table Dinners, this kitchen produced and extraordinary amount of very.good.food.

In 2025 alone, Community Table Kitchen prepared more than 133,000 meals for our food-insecure neighbors.

Every plate carried the skill of our team, the trust of our customers, and the belief that food can nourish both people and possibility.

We're proud of every last bite.

The heart of Community Table Kitchen was never the equipment, the recipes, or even the food.

It was the people.

Our chefs, kitchen staff, trainees, volunteers, customers, and community partners brought talent, care, and purpose to this kitchen every day. Together, they created far more than meals.

To everyone who was part of the CTK family: thank you for bringing your whole heart to the table.

Today marks Community Table Kitchen's final day.

This is a difficult goodbye—to a kitchen, a social enterprise, and a community built around good food and meaningful opportunity.

We are deeply grateful to every employee, trainee, customer, partner, volunteer, and supporter who helped make Community Table Kitchen what it became.

Thank you for pulling up a chair. ❤️

You know it's a big deal when Chef John breaks out the second barbecue and third canopy— he was right as nearly 150 faithful showed up for one last CTK Pop-Up Lunch—and reminded us just how many ways a community can gather in and around a kitchen.

Catering and take-and-bake clients. Community Table and kitchen volunteers. Brownie fans. Neighboring business employees. Community partners. Friends who came to eat lunch, take a selfie with Chef, buy a brownie—or a box of 16—share a hug and wish us well.

It was a great send-off, but it was also a snapshot of something much bigger: years of meals served, relationships built, formerly homeless adults employed and a community that showed up—again and again.

That’s the impact of Community Table Kitchen. Thank you for filling the room—and for having a seat at our table.
