PridePads provides biodegradable menstrual pads and menstrual health education in northern Cameroon.

10/14/2026

It costs just $34 per year for PridePads Africa to provide a full annual supply of menstrual pads for one girl.

But we don't just give the girls pads, we supply them knowledge. Complimentary PridePads are distributed at every school visit, and our PridePads team in Cameroon conducts menstrual health education at every visit.

Outreach sessions cover female reproductive biology, proper menstrual hygiene management, tracking menstrual cycles, and the physical changes associated with puberty.

There is always a lengthy question and answer session, because many of these girls have never talked about their period before.

Would you consider sponsoring one girl, and providing a year's supply of menstrual pads? There's a link in our bio.

If you cannot donate, please share our post!

Thanks Everyone, for your continued support of PridePads Africa.

Last year, we reached 7,544 students and women. This year, we’ve already reached 8,162 — and the year isn’t even over yet.

Seeing our impact grow reminds us why we do this work, but it also reminds us that there is still so much more to be done.

We’re proud of this milestone, grateful to everyone who has helped make it possible, and more motivated than ever to keep pushing forward.

8,162 so far… and we’re not finishing there.

Back to school should mean new classes and new opportunities — not worrying about whether your period will keep you out of the classroom.

For many girls in Cameroon, limited access to menstrual products, menstrual health education, and the stigma surrounding menstruation can create barriers to attending school.

At Pride Pads Africa, we work to change that. Through biodegradable menstrual pads, menstrual health education, and community-based efforts to combat menstrual stigma, we’re helping girls manage their periods with confidence— so their education doesn’t have to pause when their period starts.

This back-to-school season, help us make periods one less barrier to education.

The Period Pantry is always stocked and ready at YWCA Boulder County! This is a community resource designed with a simple mission: take what you need, and give what you can. Our Boulder PridePads Africa team regularly restocks the pantry. Thank you Stephanie Brauchli Carter for this month's restock!

Supporting our Boulder community means ensuring everyone has access to essential hygiene products, no matter their circumstances.

Sending a HUGE Thank You to LOLA for donating menstrual pads to our period pantry!

Period products are a necessity, not a luxury. If you’re in need of menstrual supplies, please stop by and help yourself, no questions asked. The period pantry is accessible 24 hours a day.

If you’re in a position to give back, we’re always looking for donations to keep the shelves full. Dropping off a box of pads or tampons can make a world of difference for someone in our local community.

Students are heading back to school in Cameroon, and our Pride Pads Africa team will be back in the classroom with them.

Too many girls miss critical school days every month simply because they lack access to basic period products and education. We’re on a mission to change that, one classroom at a time.

What we’re bringing to schools this term:

Menstrual Health Education: Interactive, taboo-shattering sessions so students understand their bodies with confidence and zero shame.

Free Menstrual Pad Distribution: Eco-friendly, dependable Pride Pads to ensure no girl has to choose between her period and her education.

Every girl deserves to learn comfortably and confidently. Here’s to a powerful new school year filled with dignity and bright futures.

Want to help us reach more students this term? Tap the link in our bio to sponsor a student’s menstrual pad supply for the year. The sponsorship amount is just $34 per girl per year.

Thank you for supporting young girls and PridePads Africa!
