Voices for Children, CASA of Boulder County is dedicated to recruiting, training, matching and supporting community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in Boulder County. Voices for Children CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is dedicated to training, matching and supporting community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in Boulder County. A judge told this story recently, "When 8-year old Walter came into my courtroom, he had just been moved to his 7th foster home. Walter's parents suffered from drug addiction and were not able to keep him safe or tend to his basic needs. By the time I met him, he had been with 6 different caseworkers, 2 attorneys, and even (I'm embarrassed to say) 3 different judges who had worked on his case.

On Indigenous Peoples Day, Voices for Children, CASA of Boulder County, honors the Indigenous peoples whose ancestral lands we call home. We believe every child deserves to stay connected to their culture, family, and community.

Our office will be closed today in observance of the holiday. We look forward to reconnecting tomorrow.
