For more than 20 years, Greenhouse has evolved, grown, and changed. But through it all, four values have remained at the heart of who we are: Community, Leadership, Relentlessness, and Accountability.

Our core values show up in everything we do - from how we select Scholars to the design of our programming, to how we hire and support our staff, and so much more.

Over the next few months, we’ll highlight how these four values come to life across the Greenhouse community. Each month, we’ll focus on one of our values, beginning with Community in October.

Last night, our mentors in Colorado gathered to share and connect. Whole Person College Program Director Jacob shared updates and recent outcomes from Greenhouse, and he led a discussion and open forum to help the mentors learn from each other's experiences.

We are proud to have a long-standing partnership with Prosperity Denver Fund . Through their years of financial backing, connections to great Denver nonprofit organizations, and volunteering as speakers for our Ignite conference, Greenhouse has been able to expand our reach in the city to dozens of Denver Scholars - many of whom have graduated to join our Young Leaders Program, where they are changing Denver communities from the inside out.

Last night, Glass Half Full Illinois sparked joy, connections, and inspiration particularly from our panelists, Young Leaders Alum Ricardo Reyes and Whole Community Alum Dr. Saad Syed. Dr. Syed was a part of our first Scholar class after expanding into Illinois. He is now a father of a 1-year-old and excited to see what Greenhouse can do for her generation.

Greenhouse is coming to Chicago, Charlotte, and New York for our fall Glass Half Full events!

From a world-class art museum to a historic Southern mansion to a beautiful view overlooking Bryant Park, each event offers a unique setting to celebrate the Greenhouse community - and the opportunity, choice, and belief that bring us together.

And of course, there will be amazing food and drinks, entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow changemakers.

Chicago Alumni know how to do a meetup right!

Our Young Leaders in Chicago came together for an evening of friendly competition at Game Night Out, where they put their skills—and probably a few friendships—to the test with a series of staff-led games.

Afterward, the group kept the fun going over pizza and plenty of conversation.

A huge thank you to Noshin for hosting and bringing everyone together! Moments like these are what the Greenhouse community is all about: staying connected, building relationships, and having a great time along the way.
