Uh oh! Scoop Dogg got an ouchie today up on Sourdough. If you have been hesitient to donate to our Fall Membership Drive, or donate in general, this might be the situation you needed to help out. I had to pay $540 for new tracks and we have yet to get our excavator maintenance budget to the level we need. We had to drop $1,400 to repair the excavator last month, so this one stings. The new tracks will be heavy duty and should last a good long while. Thank you for keeping me rolling on our trails!! A small donation goes a long ways! (You can add "Scoop Dogg tracks" with your donation amount to make sure it gets to the right place!)

OK, Friday on Thursday as I'm out of town. Just made it to the Coney/Sourdough junction today, so I thought I'd show you that and the work I finished up below this week. I can feel the weather changing and the aspen leaves are dropping. Great time of year to work, but when are we going to get our first snow fall for the year?!

Ballots are arriving this week! BMA's Board of Directors unanimously endorse 200, which would expand the Boulder County Commission from three members to five.

Our support is rooted in our experience working with county government and our belief in broader representation, more perspectives at the table, and better governance.

Happy Friday (on Saturday!) Had a late one yesterday and a XC meet for the kiddo this morning. Making progress on Sourdough and wanted to show what I have so far. The weather has been great, with periodic showers to help tamp everything down. Get out and ride!!

Also, don't forget our Fall Fundraising Drive kicked off on Thursday, so please help out if you can! This helps our entire program and especially getting me in the field and keeping our trails in good shape across the county!

Last night at Springbrook for public events. We dug some much needed drains, built a jump/rollover, a little punchy boof rock feature, and pinched down a section of trail...all within about an hour and a half, as it got dark fast. Luckily, most of the crew had lights (and a I brought a few extras just in case). 😄

Thanks to everyone that came out this year and helped make Springbrook a little more fun for everyone, while also keeping it more sustainable over the long haul! Next year, we'll flip over to the other side and start working counterclockwise on the loop.
