Climate activists back David Seligman for Attorney General of CO!!!

Electing lawmakers doesn't matter when billionaires are able to buy out the legal system... UNLESS WE HAVE CANDIDATES THAT WILL CHAMPION THE PEOPLE'S NEEDS!

Electing an Attorney General who doesn't accept corporate PAC money is more important than you may think because they have the power to enforce environmental laws or dismiss them depending on if they've accepted gas and oil industry donations to their campaigns. We endorsed David Seligman for Attorney General because he has a history of fighting for everyday people, does not accept corporate donations, and is community to prying back millions of taxpayer dollars through lawsuits by prosecuting corporations like Suncor that pollute our communities. His top opponent has been part of the status quo for years and will prosecute only when it doesn't effect capitalistic business as usual (she has no experienceas a lawyer to bring on lawsuits against polluters!). US House Representative Diana DeGette has been in office for nearly 30 years, and that's more than long enough. She doesn't want us to vote for her if we disagree about the main issue that lost Dems the presidency: Palestine. She has repeatedly voted to fund the genoc*de and needs to be held accountable.

Blocking bombs is the least she could do, and she won't even do that. We need an actual progressive representing the most progressive district in the state. In addition to her horrible record on Gaza, she claims to fight for Medicare For All while health insurance and big pharma are her biggest donors. She's had 33 yrs, its time someone else represents this district.

These organizers helped put together Climate Disaster Awareness Week last month and Climate Lobby Day this month. They've dedicated a lot of time and energy towards being agents of change in the climate movement and had important things to share about their journeys as activists. Social and environmental justice groups are in need of more organizers, please take the local, national, and international crises as a personal invitation to join an organization that's fighting for causes you care about. Action is the best antidote for despair.

Los centros de datos son un desastre. Requieren enormes cantidades de agua para refrigerar sus equipos informáticos. Absorben energía de las redes locales y hacen que las comunidades paguen la factura eléctrica. Por lo general, funcionan con gas que contamina el aire a su alrededor. Y todo esto solo para entrenar modelos de inteligencia artificial que acaban robando puestos de trabajo o contribuyendo al estado de vigilancia. El barrio de Global Elyria-Swansea está ejerciendo el poder de su comunidad para luchar contra el centro de datos CoreSite que se está construyendo en su patio trasero.

Este centro de datos está situado en el código postal con la calidad del aire más contaminada del estado. Han sido envenenados por la refinería Suncor, los mataderos y la fábrica Purina durante años, por lo que CoreSite pensó que podría envenenar a esta comunidad sin mucha resistencia. Se equivocaron.

Data centers suck. They're require massive amounts of water to cool their computer hardware. They suck energy from local grids and make communities front the electric bill. They're usually powered by gas that pollute the air around them. And all of this is to train AI models that end up stealing jobs or contribute to the surveillance state. The Global Elyria-Swansea neighborhood is flexing their community power to fight back against the CoreSite data center being built in their backyard.

This data center is located in the zip code with the most contaminated air quality in the state. They've been poisoned by the Suncor refinery, slaughterhouses, and thr Purina factory for years, so CoreSite thought they could poison this community without much resistance. They were wrong.

The community has organized against CoreSite and have a list of demands for them to meet to "Be A Good Neighbor". You can sign onto our letter for these demands, linked in our bio!
