This guy is on every News channel on this morning news here in Massachusetts.

This they say is a Piebald Deer, a white-tailed deer with a rare genetic mutation that causes irregular white and brown patches on its coat, resembling a pinto horse.

Wow...this is si beautiful.... this is precious and has everyone talking.

Vitiligo is REAL and can be seen in many animals!

WOW...can you imagine that HALF of 2026 is gone?

Here's a look back at what we were able to accomplish in 2025 and it is so rewarding. Our hope is to finish 2026 - STRONG!

February 2025 – Valarie was a guest speaker at the Northeast Dermatology Conference

March 2025 – Valarie became an appointee of the MA Governor, as a Rare Disease Council
Member

April 2025 – Valarie attended her annual UMass Chan Medical School, External Advisory Vitiligo Research Board Meeting

April 2025 – Valarie was announced as the winner of Incyte Ingenuity Award

April 2025 – Our Mental Health Zoom meeting with Guest Tonia of MTOS and Rochelle of VA
was a success

May 2025 – Valarie was announced as winner of Incyte Innovator Award

May 2025 – Valarie was a guest on TV 25 words or less and won $1,000 donated to VITFriends

June 2025 – Harvard Medical School invitation for Valarie and Barbara to be Patient-Teacher for
a day, working with first year medical students.

June 2025 – Several VITFriends leaders attended WVD Conference in Tampa, FL

June 2025 – PURPLE Lights can be seen across the nation in honor of Vitiligo

June 2025 -Juneteenth celebration was held indoor in Hyde Park due to RAIN

August 2025 – Valarie & Roy had their 35 wedding vow renewal with 100 friends

September 2025 – Valarie & Alicia attended Incyte Advocacy Summit, Delaware

October 2025 – MA State House with Rep Rob Consalvo regarding Bill H-1115 for Insurance
coverage for Vitiligo.

December 2025 - Prudential Tower has honored our request and we are day #28 of the 31
Nights of Light in Boston.

January – December 2025 – Our Reading Program was a success!

Our Purple Patch Teens and Young Adult group recently hosted a LUPUS Talk.

Special guest and Lupus patient since age 8 is Aditi who is currently a medical student.

She is introduced by her younger sister Aparna who is one of our PPT Peer-Leaders and a Vitiligo patient since age 3.
