Paraclete For many years, the Paraclete ran an after school academic support program for Boston students. Through its Academy, located in the former St.

We now seek to carry on that legacy by providing grants to other nonprofits offering educational opportunities and support to children in Boston. The Paraclete provides after school educational enrichment to youth in South Boston with a special focus on 4th-6th graders. Augustine's Convent, offers a wide range of high-quality, hands-on classes in science, math, engineering and English for urban students. We are an educational resource for our families, often immigrants, and work with each family and child to help them find the best educational opportunities, providing support as needed through high school graduation. Our faculty is a cadre of volunteers from first rate universities who live at the Paraclete building and are a full time presence in the community. We collaborate with the local schools and Lesley University and Babson Universities.
