Great panel yesterday hosted by the City of Boston Mayor's Office of Returning Citizens, Office of Small Business, and Department of Supplier Diversity! "Breaking the Stigma: Exploring Possibilities and Creating Opportunities" highlighted the critical importance of employers and organizations creating meaningful employment pathways for citizens re-entering the workforce. Conversations like these are essential to breaking down barriers and building second chances.

Leslie Credle participated in the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute's 30th Annual Mother's Day Walk for Peace, honoring her daughter Brie and all lives lost to gun violence. The walk brought together families, community members, and supporters, fostering a powerful sense of solidarity as we remember loved ones and advocate for peace. We're grateful for the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute's dedication to supporting survivors and creating safer communities.

We're grateful to Representative Brandy Fluker Reid and cosponsors Representatives Ramos and Gonzalez for championing our earmark in the House budget. Rep. Fluker Reid's leadership demonstrates a deep commitment to addressing the housing needs of individuals reentering after incarceration, recognizing that housing policy must account for the unique challenges faced by justice-impacted individuals.

We also uplift our partners Trade Core Corp and The Arch Institute for their advocacy and outreach in helping us secure this favorable vote. Together, we look forward to Senate passage, championed by Senator Gomez with cosponsors Senators Eldridge and Edwards.

Thank you to The Arch Institute and Darnell Jenkins Resource Center for hosting a powerful community event in Springfield this past Saturday. The basketball game brought together speakers, community members, and vendors to honor mothers who have lost children to gun violence and promote peace, unity, and community-driven solutions to violence. Grateful to stand alongside organizations dedicated to peace and healing in our communities. 👏🏻
