We are so excited for this week’s Friday Night Live at Boca Raton Synagogue program - it’s a truly special one as we gather for the last Shabbat of the year! Whether you’ve been a regular attendee or if this is your first time joining us, we can’t wait to see you tonight.
We have many surprises in store, and it will be an evening filled with inspiration and community. We are honored to welcome Rabbi Efrem Goldberg, the Senior Rabbi of Boca Raton Synagogue, who will share meaningful words to help us prepare for the new year ahead.
In addition, Dr. Jaime Alalu is graciously sponsoring a super deluxe kiddush in memory of his beloved brother, Yehuda ben F***y Alalu, on the occasion of his yahrzeit. Expect delicious food and, as a special treat, we may even pop open a bottle of champagne to toast in the new year!
We also recognize that this has been a difficult week for many, especially with the tragic events in Israel. Last night’s community program marking the events of October 7 was deeply moving, and for those who couldn’t attend, we’ll share some of the powerful stories and reflections tonight.
Please join us at 6 PM in the Senders Library at Boca Raton Synagogue. Remember to park in the designated spots for Friday Night Live by entering through the exit gate of the synagogue, or you can park on the swale of Montoya Circle. Bring a friend to experience the magic of Friday Night Live, and let’s welcome Shabbat together!
For those who cannot attend in person, we have a Zoom option available so you can still join us virtually. Simply use this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/5617023864?omn=85461301920
Also, if you haven’t yet reserved your tickets for our High Holiday Explanatory Services, now is the perfect time! You can secure your spot here: https://www.eventbrite.com/.../rosh-hashana-yom-kippur...
Wishing you a peaceful and meaningful Shabbat, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Shabbat Shalom,
Josh and Simone
