Every year, millions of people leave their rural communities to migrate to large cities in search of better opportunities: from education, to health services to jobs. In Latin America, 81% of people live in urban areas and this number keeps growing every year; less and less people live in rural areas. The reasons are many, including poverty, the lack of government support, poor education and sca

rce public services. Our organization, AEDRA, Assistance For Economic Development in Rural Areas, will focus on the specific problem of developing economic opportunities through rural entrepreneurship to help people from local villages to start and grow their businesses in a sustainable way. AEDRA is a non profit based in the US, formed by members with entrepreneurial background, who have developed an interest in assisting rural areas that have been neglected by large corporations and governments. Our goal is to assist people, in particular women, who live in remote communities so they can start their own business with seed money. We also want to create a network connecting sponsors to micro entrepreneurs to further develop projects in green energy and applied technology to food and farming. Our long term goal is to increase the annual income of individuals in rural communities, to lower the rate of migration to urban areas and to replicate this model to other countries! �������

We are incredibly grateful for the generous donations entrusted to us for families in Cuba. Every contribution represents hope, compassion, and solidarity with those facing difficult circumstances.

We take our responsibility seriously and make every effort to ensure that all donated items reach their final destination. To accomplish this, we use a reliable door-to-door delivery service. While it may be a little more expensive, it gives us peace of mind knowing that the donations are delivered directly to the people who need them most. Our dear friend .gardella.1 has sent things to Cuba in the past and she has been successful.

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Terry Kollman and Mrs. Kollman, the Knights of Columbus, St. Joan of Arc Church in Boca Raton, and the wonderful ladies from St. Clement Church in Oakland Park for their generosity and support. Your kindness is making a meaningful difference in the lives of many families.

A huge thank you to our amazing community for joining us in Deerfield Beach, FL for such a fun and meaningful gathering. 🫶🏽We are so grateful to everyone who brought non-perishable food and hygiene items to support families in Cuba who are currently facing difficult shortages. Your generosity and compassion truly make a difference.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to the wonderful TERRACE at the Wyndham Hotel that hosted us and helped create such a welcoming atmosphere for our community to connect, laugh, and give back together.

Witnessing the collaboration between Clubs in the U.S. and , alongside the dedication of local communities, is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when people come together with a shared vision. Their work toward building a system is transforming lives and creating lasting impact. 💦
