Tessa is a nationally recognized Jewish student leader and advocate who has inspired students across the country through her leadership, resilience, and passion for the Jewish community.

In addition to an incredible Shabbos of friendship, fun, and meaningful experiences, teens will have the opportunity to hear an empowering message from someone making a real impact on today’s college campuses.

Starting college is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming for both students and parents. This special Zoom will introduce your family to some of the main Jewish organizations on campus and help your student feel supported, connected, and prepared before move-in day.

We’ll cover:

✨ Community, safety, and support systems
✨ Ways students can stay connected and involved

🎤 Plus, a special Q&A with Tessa Veksler, the first Jewish student body president at UofC, sharing insight and advice for Jewish students navigating campus life today.

WE DID IT 💙🎉

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we officially reached 100% of our Giving Day goal! 🙌

Today was about so much more than fundraising. It was about investing in Jewish teens, creating meaningful experiences, building friendships, strengthening identity, and giving our teens a place where they feel connected, supported, and inspired ✡️✨

Watching the excitement, energy, and passion from our teens throughout the day was truly incredible. None of this would be possible without the support of our parents, families, alumni, donors, and community members who believe in the impact of JSU and NCSY.

Thank you for partnering with us and helping us continue this important work. Your support truly makes a difference in the lives of Jewish teens across the South 💙

What an incredible night at our JSU Boat Party! 🚤☀️
From the music and dancing to the friendships and memories being created, it was amazing to watch teens connect, laugh, and enjoy a safe, uplifting environment together.

These moments are what JSU is all about?building community, confidence, friendships, and Jewish connection in a fun and meaningful way 💙
