Partnership for Children of Essex (PCE) and the Family Support Organization of Essex County (FSCOEC) are teaming up with the Greater Newark Health Care Coalition to bring our community an informative Medicaid Informational Session on Wednesday, September 16!

Yesterday, PCE had the incredible opportunity to give back to our community during Belleville’s National Night Out! 🎒📚
In partnership with Assemblywoman Carmen Morales, we proudly distributed over 400 bookbags filled with school supplies to children in our community, helping them get ready for a successful school year.
An event of this magnitude would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our community, dedicated staff, volunteers, and partners. Your generosity and commitment made a lasting impact on so many families.
Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make this event such a success. Together, we’re building a stronger community—one child at a time. 💚

PCE is proud to share that on May 26, 2026, our CEO, Victor Alvarez, served as a keynote speaker at the BHDDH/DCYF Stronger Together Conference in Rhode Island.
Alongside Elizabeth Manley, the former Assistant Commissioner of CSOC, Victor shared insights on Wraparound services and their impact on building resilience, restoring hope, and connecting families to needed supports. Together, they exemplified the power of collaboration in strengthening care for individuals and families affected by substance use disorders.

🌎 Celebrating the cultural diversity that makes Essex County so special
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 We welcomed our staff’s children for Take Your Child to Work Day, inspiring future leaders and sharing the important work we do every day.
🌱 Through Staff Enrichment Day, we continued investing in our team, fostering growth, collaboration, and support across PCE.
As we head into the second half of 2026, we’re excited to continue building connections and supporting the youth and families we serve. Thank you for being part of our journey!

PCE was proud to attend the grand opening of Maplewood’s new Health Department and Community Center! 💚
This beautiful new location will offer valuable resources to the community, including free health screenings, food access support, and services for seniors and children. We’re excited to celebrate this commitment to community health and wellness!
