The Montclair Youth Council was founded by William J Ewing in 19xx as a growing need for social activism by the Montclair High School black community was concerned. Over the years, the Youth Council has grown with the Montclair NAACP to sponsor voter registration drives, youth summits, educational forums and a thriving ACT-SO program. Today, Montclair is home to Montclair High School, Lacordaire A

cademy, Montclair Kimberly Academy, Immaculate Conception High School, the Duron School II, all of which are grounds for membership and activist in Montclair.
