Sunday’s forecast shows 84% chance of rain, so we’ve made the painful decision to call off our Ice Cream Social. Quite reasonably, Applegate needs sufficient notice, so we can’t wait till the last minute to decide.

Due to various scheduling conflicts, the earliest we could reschedule would be mid October, when chilly weather becomes a factor, so we’re going to put this off until Spring 2027. We look forward to seeing you then.

We are closely watching the forecast for Sunday, and right now it's not looking good for the Ice Cream Social - 90% chance of rain. Wewill need to decide by tomorrow (Friday) afternoon, and will post here just as soon as we do.

We are planning on participating the the town-wide parks cleanup tomorrow (Saturday 4/25). The forecast is iffy. Regardless, we will be in the park at 10AM, and will do as much or as little as weather permits. If the rain isn't torrential, we hope you will give us a hand.
