Hello! My name is Figley, but you can call me Fig. I’m a rock star they tell me after all I been through. I’m a 1-year-old, neutered, 10-pound Shih Tzu mix boy, who is all up to date on shots. I’m looking for a loving home to call my own.
I once loved and then found abandoned and scared in a cold apartment building. My owner later surrendered me to animal control. I was scared and uncertain of my fate. Thankfully, the kind people at Birmingham Rescue took me in and made sure I would be safe. I was sad and matted at first, but my foster mama comforted me, and gave me a nice bath. At my foster home she helped me feel like myself again. I’m settling in beautifully—but there’s still no place like home!

🍁 I enjoy playing in a fenced yard and running around with kids.
🍁 I get along great with small dogs, and cats too!
🍁 I’m crate trained and potty trained.
🍁 I have a low-shedding coat.
🍁 I can be shy at first, but once I warm up, I love snuggling.
