🌿☀️ What a wonderful way to celebrate an amazing year together at the beautiful surrounded by friends, laughter, and stunning lakeside views.

Today we thanked our Executive Committee for their dedication, hard work, and countless hours behind the scenes, while warmly welcoming our new leadership team. And what better way to celebrate than with a delicious potluck lunch made by our incredible members? 🍽️❤️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed food, volunteered their time, lead activities, served on the board, organized events, and supported BBNC throughout the year. We had the chance to explore the highlights of one of North America’s great art collections, with more than 65,000 works of art spanning cultures and centuries. 🎨✨

From world-famous masterpieces to fascinating historical artifacts, every gallery offered something inspiring to discover. 🌍

♻️ Turning waste into life with GreenSpirations BBNC! 🌱
Today we had the opportunity to tour SOCRRA’s composting facility in Rochester Hills, operated by Industries — a family-owned business with over 30 years of experience creating certified compost and high-performance soils across Southeast Michigan.

Guided by the incredibly knowledgeable Doug and Adriana, we explored the composting process from organic waste to nutrient-rich soil, learning how healthy soil supports stronger, more resilient plants and a healthier environment.

Thanks to Florence for organising this inspiring hands-on experience showing how composting transforms waste into a valuable resource for our communities and our planet. 🌎✨
