We had the honor of managing the waste station at Beverly 400’s Night Circus on May 16 at Kelly’s Classic Cars, and we are so proud of what this community pulled off together!
The evening was full of incredible energy: bites from Henry’s, a cash bar, tarot readings, aerial performances, and a crowd that clearly cares. And the waste? Less than one grocery store bag of actual trash from the entire event. Almost everything was sorted into recycling or compost, including the plastic bags and black plastic serving trays.
This is proof that efficient waste management is easier than most people expect. When systems are set up well and people are willing to sort, the results speak for themselves.
Here’s a parallel worth thinking about: just like composting and recycling save resources, they can also save money. Less trash going to the landfill/incinerator means lower hauling costs. If you’ve ever considered downsizing your trash barrel at home or at your business, this is your sign. Smaller barrel, less waste, lower bill.
Thank you Beverly 400 for including us and for putting on such a magical evening! 🎪✨
