Last MassBike challenge for BayState Bike month!

One of the best things about bicycles is the places they take us. Race to the town line with our final Bay State Bike Month Challenge- whether it’s your town or somewhere new we want you to share a photo of yourself & your bicycle at a Town/City sign of your choice.

Enter by October 9th for your chance to win a Family Membership to The Trustees to help you explore even more towns/cities across the commonwealth. With The Trustees membership, you’ll enjoy free or reduced admission to 120 spectacular properties in Massachusetts.

How to join:
-Take a ride to a Town or City sign (bonus if it’s a new municipality you’re visiting) & snap a photo of you with a sign

On Wednesday, September 29th at 11am join AARP Massachusetts & MassBike for "Preparing for Your Next Bicycle Ride". This virtual workshop is intended for older adults who are interested in getting back on their bike, expanding their biking comfort level, and looking for a refresher on bike safety and rules of the road.

The Beverly Social Bike ride and bike breakfast is on! Join us tomorrow (Sept 18th) at 142 Brimbal Ave in the North Shore Crossing retail center (free parking). We’ll head out for an easy-paced one hour ride on quiet streets/streets with bike lanes in Beverly. Then we’ll come back to a FREE breakfast on the Caffe’ Nero patio from 8:30am-10:30am. We’ll have giveaways and a raffle drawing from local businesses in North Shore Crossing! See the confirmed raffle list! Weather is looking pretty good for this Saturday! Meet us at the North Shore Crossing retail center (free parking) in Beverly (142 Brimbal Ave) between 7am-7:30am for an easy-paced one-hour bike ride led by Beverly Bike Committee members followed by a FREE bike breakfast on the outside patio of Caffe’Nero from 8:30am-10:30am. Sponsored by the North Shore TMA in honor of BayState Bike Month and the MassCommute Bicycle Challenge (Sept 19th-26th). In case of rain, we do have an alternate date for the following Saturday, Sept 25th. Call will be made by 9am Friday morning. Stick around to socialize with fellow bicyclists and the raffle drawing! Just announced, Praxis is donating 4 two-week memberships which includes group fitness classes! Join us and invite your friends! This Saturday, Sept 18th we’re hosting a one-hour social bike ride starting from the North Shore Crossing shopping center at 7:30am. Members of the Beverly Bike Committee will lead the ride and provide a sweep. This is a casual, easy ride and open to anyone 12+. We’ll have a quick safety briefing before we start. After, join us for a free bike breakfast at the Caffe Nero patio from 8:30am-10:30am. This is open to anyone that arrives by bike while supplies last, there will be a raffle drawing as well. There is a small chance of rain so the rain date will be the following Saturday, Sept 25th. We’ll make the call by this Friday on our social media pages. This is in honor of and the .
