✨ Berkeley Bears, we want to hear from you! ✨
Navigating health insurance shouldn’t feel like a full‑time job, but for many students on Medi‑Cal or dual‑enrolled in Medi‑Cal + SHIP, it often does. If you’ve faced challenges getting care, coordinating coverage, or simply understanding your benefits, your experience matters.

💬 Share your story:
Have you run into long wait times? Confusing referrals? Trouble accessing specialists? Unexpected bills? Difficulty figuring out which plan covers what? Your voice can help highlight real barriers and push for better support on campus.

📣 Whether it’s a small frustration or a major hurdle, your perspective is important. Drop your experience below. Let’s work toward making healthcare access at Cal clearer, easier, and more equitable for everyone.

Senate Resolution 2025/2026‑056 has officially passed!

The ASUC has formally voted to support H.R. 6718 – the Professional Student Degree Act and to stand with UCAN and UC FGR’s advocacy to protect federal loan access for graduate and professional students across the UC system.

Graduate and professional programs are vital to California’s workforce, and proposed federal loan caps would make these paths harder to access, especially for low‑ and middle‑income students who rely on federal aid. By passing this resolution, the ASUC strengthens its commitment to affordability and student representation, supporting efforts to protect federal loan access and backing UCAN’s advocacy across the UC system.

📣 Take action: Add your voice through UCAN’s campaign to protect graduate and professional student loan access:

This past weekend, our office had the honor of attending UCSA’s ( ) Student Lobbying Conference (SLC)! Training on how to lobby was hosted on the gorgeous UC Davis campus. On our final day, we headed to Sacramento to meet with legislators in the swing space of the CA State Capitol! In these meetings, we urged legislators to support the issues that matter most to us as students from all walks of life.

Thank you to those who joined us in representing UC Berkeley as delegates. Go bears!!🐻💙💛🗣️
