🌳 Playground Installation Update & Volunteer Work Days 🌳

Neighbors, we wanted to share an update on the playground installation. Due to recent plumbing issues and now the extreme heat, we’ve had to adjust our schedule. We are now planning four volunteer work days to get everything completed safely and efficiently.

📅 Work Days:

September 19 & 20

September 26 & 27

⏰ Two Shifts Each Day:

8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

We would like to have at least 4–6 volunteers per day and per shift to keep things moving smoothly.

If you’d like to sign up and help, please email the POA at [email protected] with the day and shift you prefer.

💧 Want to help but can’t do physical labor?
We would greatly appreciate donations of water, Gatorade, and ice to help keep our volunteers cool and hydrated during these work days.

Thank you all for supporting this project and helping make our neighborhood even better. Silver Springs is strongest when we work together.

ROAD WORK UPDATE 🚧

The City of Haskell is currently working on St. Anne’s and will be moving on to Inverness Cove and Sahalee Cove in the next few days.

As they prepare to overlay these streets, please keep all vehicles off Inverness Cove and Sahalee Cove until the work has been completed. This will help crews complete the work safely and without unnecessary delays.

⚠️ Please be prepared to move your vehicles ahead of the crews reaching your street.

If you have any questions or concerns about the road work, scheduling, or the work being performed, please contact the City of Haskell directly.

Silver Springs… we may have already picked our Yard of the Month winner…
but our sign decided to take the scenic route and is currently living its best life in USPS limbo.

Winner will be announced Wednesday, once the sign finally decides to clock in for work.

Good morning, Silver Springs!
Here’s a clear rundown of our current pool schedule and after‑hours rules so everyone stays on the same page.

🕗 Weekly Pool Hours

• Adult Exercise Swim — Tuesday–Sunday, 8 AM–10 AM
Adults only during this time. No children allowed.
• Open Swim Hours — Tuesday–Sunday, 10 AM–8 PM
• Maintenance Day — Monday
Pool closed all day for cleaning and upkeep.

🔐 Gate Access & Closing Times

• The pool closes at 8 PM every day it is open.
• Gate access remains active until 8:30 PM to give everyone time to gather belongings and exit safely.
• After 8:30 PM, the entire pool area is locked until the next morning.

⚠️ After‑Hours Policy

Being inside the pool area after hours or any time on Monday is strictly prohibited.
If you are found in the pool during these times, you risk having your pool privileges suspended for the remainder of the year.

🌼 Yard of the Month Update 🌼

Neighbors, we wanted to send a quick apology for not posting the July Yard of the Month winner. Between the weather, the parade, the fireworks display, and all the volunteer coordination, it simply got away from us.

We’ve regrouped, finalized a few details, and we’re ready to roll into August YOM with a fresh start.

Thank you all for your patience, your understanding, and for continuing to make Silver Springs such a beautiful place to live. Stay tuned — August judging will be underway at the end of the month and the winner will be announced Aug 1, 2026

☀️ Silver Springs Pool Hours & Friendly Reminders 🌊
Summer is in full swing, and we want everyone to have a safe, fun, and enjoyable experience at the Silver Springs Pool! Please take a moment to review our pool hours and a few important reminders.

🏊 Pool Hours
Tuesday–Sunday
8:00–10:00 AM – Adult Exercise Swim (Adults only – no children during this time.)
10:00 AM–8:00 PM – Open Swim
🚫 Mondays: Closed for cleaning and maintenance.

🔑 Gate Access
The pool closes promptly at 8:00 PM.
Gate access remains active until 8:30 PM to allow everyone time to gather their belongings and exit the pool area. Once the gate locks at 8:30 PM, access is unavailable until the next scheduled opening.

👨‍👩‍👧 Private Pool & Guest Policy
Silver Springs Pool is a private amenity for Silver Springs property owners and members.

Guests are welcome only when accompanied by a property owner or member and must pay a $5 guest fee per person. Guest fees should be paid inside the clubhouse.
Please remember that allowing unauthorized guests into the pool or failing to pay guest fees is considered a violation of pool rules and may result in the suspension or loss of pool privileges.

📋 Annual Pool Form Required
A new pool form must be completed every year — even if you filled one out last season. If you have not submitted a 2026 form, please do so before your next visit. Forms are available at the clubhouse or can be emailed to you upon request. Gate access cannot be activated without a current form on file.

🌴 Help Keep Our Pool Beautiful
We all share the responsibility of keeping our pool clean and enjoyable for everyone.

Please remember to:
✅ Throw away all trash before leaving.
✅ No food or drinks in the pool or on the pool deck.
✅ Take all floats, toys, towels, and personal belongings home with you each day.
✅ Leave the pool area as clean as you found it.

🚗 GOLF CART PARADE MOVED TO SUNDAY 🚗
Rain’s hanging around past 7 tonight, so we’re moving the Golf Cart Parade to TOMORROW (Sunday) evening — same night as the fireworks. Everyone signed up was good with the switch.

NEW LINEUP: Sunday, July 5 — 7:30 PM, dead end of Glenn Abbey. Judging at 7:45, fireworks at 9:00.
