What a blessing to have two of our senior saints and friends from First United Methodist Church provide lunch for us on our last day of the semester. Virginia Thompson and Patty Hyatt (not pictured) have spent a lot of years serving others and Women Equipped is grateful to be the recipient of their generosity. A spring-time luncheon of a variety of Chicken Salad Chicks mini-croissants, mixed fresh fruit, pickles, chips, and homemade brownies and ooey-gooey bars was enjoyed by students, journey partners, leadership and alumni. Thank you, Mrs. Virginia and Mrs. Patty for your love and support!

As our spring session of Women Equipped is quickly coming to a close, we were blessed with yet another new manna provider! God continues to bring individuals, businesses, church groups and civic organizations to partner with us.

Today The Ramirez Law
Firm in Hot Springs provided an amazing and generous lunch from Whole Hog Cafe in Bryant. Thank you Miriam, Luke and Daniel for delivering, serving, packing leftovers to send home with the students and cleaning up. We appreciate your support of WE and all you do in and around our community.

Sara’s testimony was both deeply personal and uplifting, as she spoke with honesty about the challenges she had faced and the hope she discovered with a personal relationship with Christ. Her words resonated with everyone who was present, not because her journey was easy, but because it was real—marked by setbacks, growth, and ultimately hope. As she shared how she found strength in difficult moments, others felt encouraged to reflect on their own struggles with a renewed sense of courage.

The room was abuzz with lively and meaningful conversation as students, journey partners and leadership enjoyed a delicious lunch from Pasta J’s. The Moudy-Yazza-Duke Open Age life group at First Baptist Church, represented by Linda Moudy, Allison Richardson, Ashley Clark and Galen Hughes, delivered, served, packed leftovers and cleaned up after the meal. We are so grateful for the support of this group through the years.

On Tuesday we were blessed to have these ladies representing Holland Chapel Ladies Life Group as our latest new manna provider. They partnered with Pinnacle Dermatology and delivered a delicious pasta buffet and sides from Pasta J’s. An assortment of yummy homemade cookies by a local baker, Baked For More, and refreshing drinks rounded out our amazing lunch. Thankful for our community stepping up to serve us so well.

Take the time to thank these businesses and their reps that care and want the best for our students. Birch Tree Communities, CoorsTek, and Saline Memorial Hospital . After the interviews positive feedback and helpful tips were given and students questions were answered. Can’t thank all the businesses representatives enough for the sacrifice of time and giving their expertise. (Please note previous post too)
