Like it or not, leading a team requires you to know your team.

Barking orders from an office is one of the fastest routes to an unhealthy team.

Your word still matters.

"He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not." (Psalm 15:4)

Keeping a promise is rarely the easy thing. Sometimes it costs you time, money, or comfort. But every promise you keep, especially the hard ones, builds the kind of trust that no advertisement can buy.

Your customers notice. And God sees every bit of it.

If you've been faithful in the small things lately, keep going. You are doing it right.

Dropping some humor tonight,

But in all seriousness, bringing the wrong people on board can sink the ship.

And there is a proper way to depart from someone when they are not working out.

There’s something powerful about having a few years behind you.

By this point, you’ve probably made mistakes. You’ve experienced disappointment. Some dreams didn’t happen the way you thought they would. Maybe you’ve spent years building a life and suddenly find yourself wondering what it’s all for.

But you’re not finished!

You have something now that you didn’t have when you were younger:
•experience
•wisdom
•perspective
•and a deeper understanding of what matters.

Don’t spend the rest of your life in maintenance mode.

Build something meaningful.

•Strengthen your family.
•Deepen your faith.
•Take care of your body.
•Invest in people.
•Start the business.
•Write the book.
•Serve your community.
•Pursue the calling.

You may not be able to start over, but you can start from where you’re at.

The years behind you have not disqualified you. They have prepared you.

You are not too old. You are not too late. And you are not finished.

There is still something worth building.
Go build it.

Don’t let anyone fool you.

Consistency doesn’t mean there will never be changes.

It doesn’t mean you will never feel empty.

It just means you keep showing up in spite of the circumstances.

The most valuable thing you can build is a mind that does not collapse when the plan changes.

-Learn to adapt without abandoning your purpose.
-Change the strategy when necessary, learn from what failed, and keep moving toward what matters.
-Flexibility is not weakness it is the ability to keep progressing when life refuses to follow your original plan.

Keep the vision. Adjust the strategy. Never stop moving.

“Leadership becomes credible when your example supports your words.

Before asking others to grow, sacrifice, or change, be willing to walk that road yourself.
Experience creates understanding, and example creates trust.

The strongest leadership begins with personal responsibility.”

Pay what you owe. On time.

Not when it is convenient. Not after you have used his money for thirty days. But when it’s due.

Standard 5 of the NCBA says we pay our employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and creditors fully and on time. We do not leave others to carry the cost of our poor planning.

"Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning." Leviticus 19:13

Who is waiting on money you owe and could pay, but you’re withholding?
