For more than 20 years the OutCenter has advocated, educated, and organized across Southwest Michigan for LGBTQ+ people and their allies. According to our friend Victory over at the Berrien County GOP, we seem to be doing a pretty good job!

A busy day across our three counties!

This morning we spent time in Van Buren County preparing for the 2026-2027 school year with educators, mental health professionals, and representatives with the county ISD.

This afternoon we locked in details for a very exciting event in Berrien County, along with a second event a little further north 👀 (to be announced soon).

And this evening we rounded out the day with the Dowagiac and Cassopolis Chambers of Commerce, building stronger connections with regional partners and businesses in Cass County.

Our Interim Executive Director Gerik Maverick will be speaking at the Berrien County Democratic Party tent at the Berrien County Youth Fair today at 4pm as one of their featured speakers.

OutCenter was grateful to be at the BAMM Michigan Organization on Adolescent Sexual Health (MOASH) Summit this year! We're so thankful for many community organizations supporting LGBTQ+ youth across the state.

Celebrate the end of primary season with us on Tuesday, August 4th!

Our "We Can All Be Friends Again" party will be on the night of the primary from 7pm-10pm at the Livery in downtown Benton Harbor.

Whether you vote red, blue, or some shade of purple we hope to see you there. Just make sure you cast your vote first!
