From the passionate fans to the sounds of the bagpipes echoing through the city streets, Scotland has brought plenty of energy and excitement to the tournament. Boston has been buzzing with soccer spirit, and it's great to see supporters from all over the world coming together to celebrate the beautiful game.

𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝘁𝗼-𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗿 – 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱, 𝗩𝗔

Meet Bruno and Cookie, a bonded pair of English Bulldogs looking for a special foster-to-adopt home where they can remain together. Their owner is moving out of the country in mid-July.

Bruno
🎂 Born March 17, 2016 (10 years old)
⚖️ 83 lbs., neutered

Bruno is a sweet, stoic senior bulldog who is happiest relaxing on the porch and watching the world go by. He is house trained, crate trained, up to date on vaccinations, and receives regular flea, tick, and heart worm prevention.

Bruno has several medical conditions, including severe allergies, chronic ear disease, osteoarthritis, and some skin masses that require monitoring. Due to chronic pain and inflammation in his ears, he is very protective of them and will need a patient caregiver willing to earn his trust. His mobility is limited, and stairs should be avoided whenever possible. He does beautifully with his lifelong companion, Cookie, but should be monitored around strange dogs due to his barrier reactivity (reacting at fences and doors).

He is wonderful with children when they understand not to touch his head or ears and does best with a calm, predictable routine.

Cookie is a lovable, moderate-energy girl who enjoys lounging, being spoiled, and spending time with her people. She is house trained, potty bell trained, and up to date on vaccinations.

Cookie has undergone multiple orthopedic surgeries and is currently recovering from a recent TPLO procedure. She also has allergies, some vision limitations, and sensitivity to heat. Despite her medical challenges, she remains a happy girl who enjoys exploring and interacting with her family.

She grew up with children, has daily positive interactions with neighborhood dogs, and has never had any issues with children.

𝗕𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. They provide comfort and companionship to one another and are looking for a family willing to open their home and hearts to both dogs. They would probably do best with no other dogs or a very mellow resident dog.

Veterinary records will be provided to approved applicants. We are seeking a foster-to-adopt home with bulldog experience, a commitment to ongoing veterinary care, and the patience to help these two wonderful dogs settle into their new life.

The Knicks are heading into Game 5 with a 3–1 series lead and a chance to win their first NBA championship since 1973. After coming back from a 29-point deficit in Game 4—the largest comeback in NBA Finals history—they have an opportunity to finish the job tonight in San Antonio.

The excitement around New York is enormous, with watch parties and fans gathering all over the city.

As for who wants to see the Knicks win?

🧡💙 Knicks fans: definitely.

🧡💙 Anyone who has suffered through decades of "maybe next year": probably.

🧡💙 Basketball fans who love a great underdog story: quite a few.

Meet Jethro, a handsome 3-year-old, 71-pound bulldog (possibly a mix) who desperately needs a kind, patient foster or forever home.
Jethro was found on the property of Lollipop Farm at the end of May, so unfortunately there is no known history about his past. What we do know is that shelter life is incredibly stressful for him. Jethro is terrified in the shelter environment. While he does well being leashed and enjoys going for walks, he is frightened by new sights, sounds, and activity around him. He often shakes and pants in his kennel and can become overwhelmed when outside of it as well.
Despite his fears, Jethro is a very sweet boy who simply needs someone willing to give him the time, patience, and understanding he deserves. He is currently receiving medication to help manage his kennel stress, and we are hopeful that once he is in a home environment, he may no longer need that support.
Jethro will be neutered before leaving the shelter. He is up to date on all vaccinations, heart worm negative, on preventatives, and will be micro chipped. His complete medical records are available and will be updated following his neuter procedure.
If you have room in your heart and home for a dog who needs a chance to feel safe again, please consider fostering or adopting Jethro.
Sometimes the dogs who are the most afraid are the ones who become the most devoted companions once they learn they can trust.

We are seeking a foster-to-adopt family for a bonded pair of English Bulldogs located in northern New Jersey. ❤️

Both dogs will require bloodwork, surgery, updated vaccines, and flea & tick prevention at the expense of the rescue. The ideal foster/adopter would be willing to travel to Richmond Valley Veterinary Practice in Staten Island, though this is not a deal breaker. A bulldog-savvy veterinarian is required. Both dogs are treat motivated.

🏡 These two would do best in a home with:
🐾 Older children
🐾 A fenced yard
🐾 No other male dogs
🐾 Someone willing to provide structure, patience, and love

Meet Hiccup & Astrid:

🐶 Hiccup
DOB: 3/19/24
✔️ Neutered
✔️ Housetrained (also used to p*e pads)
✔️ About 65 lbs.
✔️ Knows a few commands
✔️ Loves car rides & playtime

Hiccup is a big, playful boy with no food or toy aggression. He would benefit from additional structure and training. He is not crate trained and may occasionally have accidents in the home. He does not do well with other male dogs.

DOB: 5/29/24
✔️ Sweet & affectionate, weighs about 60 lbs.
✔️ Housetrained (also used to p*e pads)
✔️ Good in the car

Astrid has double cherry eye and will need to be spayed. She is happiest simply being near her people. Like Hiccup, she is not crate trained.

💙 These two sleep together every night and are very bonded. Their current home has a yard that they are accustomed to enjoying together.

🍗 Both dogs are currently fed a diet of chicken, vegetables, and home-cooked meals.

Happy 1 year Gotcha Day to handsome Murphy! His new family adores him & sent this wonderful update ❤️
Murphy has settled in so perfectly and truly feels like he was always meant to be part of our family. He is such a sweet, funny, lovable boy with the biggest personality. He keeps us laughing every day and is especially wonderful with our son, Henry. Watching their bond grow has been so special.
He loves lounging around the house, soaking up attention, and of course living the spoiled bulldog life. We honestly can’t imagine our home without him now.
Thank you again for everything you do and for bringing Murphy into our lives. We are so grateful to your rescue for giving us the chance to adopt such an amazing dog.
