Adoption:
Our Adoption Program finds homes for homeless cats and dogs by hosting large adoption events across Washington; in 2015, we launched our campaign to highlight homeless cats and dogs who need extra attention to be adopted. Spay & Neuter:
Our Spay and Neuter Program increases the number of high quality, low-cost cat and dog spay and neuter surgeries being performed in Washin

gton State. We create new and expand existing programs and we target areas with high rates of cat and dog overpopulation. Pet Retention:
Our Pet Retention Program focuses on keeping pets with their caretaker and prevent pets from ending up in a shelter. We are focused on distributing free or low-cost pet ID (tags and microchips) and providing supplies and medical support to the pets of our homeless and low-income community members.

During July and August, Pawsitive Alliance shined a spotlight on these special adoptable cats from Purrfect Pals Cat Sanctuary & Adoption Centers through our campaign. Each one deserves to be seen, loved, and given the chance to find their forever home. 💙🐾

💙 Taj & Yukon, 3: Visually impaired brothers who are incredibly resilient. They rely on their sensitive hearing to navigate the world and love gentle interaction. Despite some mobility challenges, they enjoy life to the fullest.

💚 Daisy & Lily: A sweet mother-daughter pair with gorgeous green eyes and unbelievably soft coats. They love pets, laps, wand toys, and zoomies. Daisy loves being held like a baby, while Lily’s arthritis medication can give her a hilarious case of the zoomies!

🐾 Buster, 13: A routine-loving professional snack inspector! He enjoys treats and positive attention and takes Methimazole for hyperthyroidism. He’d thrive as the only pet in an adult-only home that respects his boundaries.

⚽ Charles, 10: A handsome tabby senior who still loves to play—especially with a ball! He has kidney disease and needs a prescription diet and liver supplement. He gets along with friendly cats and would do best with adults or older, cat-savvy kids.

After waiting over 5 years, Mitzy Marbles was adopted! Her new meowmy instantly fell in love with her quirky personality and Mitzy was quite smitten too.

Meet Buster & Charles, the bachelor's of Purrfect Pals!! 🐱🐱

Two distinguished senior gentlemen, two very different personalities—and both looking for loving homes for their golden years! ❤️ We are showcasing Buster and Charles in our campaign; they are adoptable through Purrfect Pals Cat Sanctuary & Adoption Center.

🐾 Buster, 13: A professional snack inspector! Buster loves routine, treats, and paws-itive attention. He’s being treated for hyperthyroidism and takes Methimazole. He’d do best as the only pet in an adult-only home where his boundaries and predictable routine are respected.

⚽ Charles, 10: This handsome tabby may be a senior, but he’s still got game! Give him a ball and he’s ready to play! Charles has kidney disease and needs a prescription diet, plus a long-term liver supplement. He’s great with friendly cats and would do best with adults or older, cat-savvy kids.

Neither boy is bonded, so they’re not a package deal—they’re simply two wonderful senior cats hoping their next chapter starts soon.

Shout out to Valley Spay and Neuter ter and Forgotten Dogs Rescue on the recent spay/neuter clinic day that served dogs on the Yakama Nation for tribal members. Thanks to a generous donor, Pawsitive Alliance offered $10 gas cards to those who brought in their dogs for surgery.

Over 60 dogs were served that day!

Pawsitive Alliance is partnering with Ridwell on a pet food and supply drive this month. If you’re a Ridwell customer, check your pickup schedule and clean out those closets! We can put to use new and used pet supplies in good condition as well as pet food that’s open or even expired.

We will pick up these supplies this month and get them delivered to help pets thrive across the state.
