Adoption:
Our Adoption Program finds homes for homeless cats and dogs by hosting large adoption events across Washington; in 2015, we launched our campaign to highlight homeless cats and dogs who need extra attention to be adopted. Spay & Neuter:
Our Spay and Neuter Program increases the number of high quality, low-cost cat and dog spay and neuter surgeries being performed in Washin

gton State. We create new and expand existing programs and we target areas with high rates of cat and dog overpopulation. Pet Retention:
Our Pet Retention Program focuses on keeping pets with their caretaker and prevent pets from ending up in a shelter. We are focused on distributing free or low-cost pet ID (tags and microchips) and providing supplies and medical support to the pets of our homeless and low-income community members.

Beck's Place is one of our furtastic partners who we work with to increase the number of pets with ID. An up-to-date ID tag or microchip can help a lost pet return to their loved one.
Beck's Place provides mobile outreach throughout Snohomish County to support pet owners who need assistance taking care of and finding services for their pets. We provide Beck's with microchips so they can offer them to their clients' pets, all for free!
Together, we are helping people and pets thrive together, ameowzing!

Huge thanks to our incredible local healthcare partners for making it possible for us to provide spay/neuter services, microchipping, and emergency veterinary care for pets in our community! 💚

Shout out to VEG ER for Pets, Everett Animal Shelter, The NOAH Center, Pasado's Safe Haven and Pawsitive Alliance for your partnership and support. Together, we’re helping keep pets healthy, families together, and our community safer for everyone.

Protect dogs from cruel puppy mills!

Tens of thousands of puppies and mother breeding dogs are suffering needlessly in United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulated puppy mills. Puppy mills are inhumane large commercial breeding facilities where puppies are “mass-produced” for sale to pet stores, middleman brokers or over the internet. These poor animals are forced to live in squalid conditions with minimal veterinary care or human interaction. As a result, many of the puppies who are sold to the public are sick, while the breeding dogs often suffer from severe physical behavioral, and emotional problems.

The Puppy Protection Act, H.R. 2253/S. 4437, will drastically improve the quality of life of dogs in USDA-licensed breeding facilities by requiring stronger standards of care including increased enclosure sizes, solid flooring, exercise, feeding twice per day, socialization, increased veterinary care, and protection from extreme temperatures. It will also impose breeding limits and ensure that breeders make reasonable efforts to rehome retired dogs instead of discarding or killing them.
TAKE ACTION

Please take a moment to call your U.S. Representative and two U.S. Senators. You can say, "As your constituent, I urge you to support the Puppy Protection Act, H.R. 2253/S. 4437, which will crack down on puppy mills. Pets are family members and should be treated as such. We can no longer tolerate dogs being mistreated in these inhumane facilities." https://secure.humaneworld.org/page/165201/action/1?ea.tracking.id=165201_email_advo_pmll_2026_puppy_protection_act_nat&utm_medium=email&utm_source=engagingnetworks&utm_campaign=pmll_2026&utm_content=165201_email_advo_pmll_2026_puppy_protection_act_nat&ea.url.id=9465077&forwarded=true

🐾 Spotlight: Meet Jr. Painkiller 🩶🤍

Jr. Painkiller has been waiting patiently for someone to see the gentle, loving companion she truly is. At 4 years old, this sweet grey-and-white girl is the definition of a quiet cuddle buddy.

She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she’ll happily curl up in your lap, make biscuits nonstop, and soak up all the head rubs you can give. Jr. Painkiller loves peaceful days spent birdwatching from the window and softly “chatting” at them.

If your purrfect evening includes a cozy blanket, a calm companion, and endless purrs, Jr. Painkiller might just be your match. 🐱✨

Please share to help this deserving girl finally find the loving home she’s been waiting for. 💙Adoptable at Motley Zoo Animal Rescue.
