What a week it has been! From going green and celebrating the 4-H Pledge to serving our communities, learning, sharing memories, and showing our 4-H pride, we’ve had so much to celebrate.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make this week so special. Here’s to the friendships, opportunities, memories, and experiences that make 4-H more than just a club.

🍀💚Until next year and continue to make the best better!🍀💚

In 4-H, we do not just learn about making a difference, we put what we learn into action! 💚

Service learning gives us the opportunity to serve our communities, grow as leaders, and turn our ideas into meaningful change.

From helping others to tackling needs in our communities, every project teaches us something new and leaves an impact.

As we celebrate National 4-H Week, the Louisiana 4-H Citizenship Board can't wait to see how 4-H members, clubs, and communities use the Act to Impact challenges to turn small acts of service into a lasting impact.

Whether you're visiting seniors, promoting awareness, organizing a cleanup project, or simply lending a helping hand, every act of service matters. Be sure to check out each month's Act to Impact challenges and discover new ways to lead through service all year long: https://www.lsuagcenter.com/topics/kids_teens/events/events/4hu/leadership-boards/citizenship-board

Congratulations to our Louisiana 4-H Forestry Contest participants! 🌲
4-H members put their forestry skills to the test in tree identification, forest health, timber measurement, compass and pacing, and topographic maps. We’re proud of every contestant who represented their parish with knowledge, dedication, and teamwork.
A special thank you to West Fraser for sponsoring the contest and providing a $1,000 scholarship to the high-scoring senior, and to the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry, Louisiana Forestry Service, Randall Malette, our agents, coaches, judges, volunteers, and families for making this event possible.
Congratulations to all contestants and winners! The future of Louisiana’s forests is bright with leaders like you. 🌳💚

💚 Green looks good on us! 💚

To celebrate National 4-H Week, the Lake Charles Regional Airport lit up green in support of 4-H and the amazing young people who make our program so special. We are grateful for their partnership in recognizing the impact 4-H continues to have on young people throughout Calcasieu Parish. Seeing our members celebrated and supported by the community reminds us why 4-H matters.

Thank you, Lake Charles Regional Airport, for helping us showcase the incredible youth who are making a difference today and leading tomorrow.💚🍀
