Swollfest is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises money for charity. Visit www.Swollfest.com for more information.

The annual Swollfest Fishing Rodeo captures the heart and soul of South Louisiana, combining love of the outdoors, Gulf Coast fishing, compassion for those in need, and laissez les bons temps rouler, all for the sake of charity. Since 1997, this nonprofit organization holds its annual fishing tournament in Grand Isle, Louisiana, and raises funds to benefit charities serving children and veterans. Swollfest is a 100% volunteer-run event, with 100% of proceeds donated to various charities and scholarships. Founded and run by Baton Rouge dentist Nick Rauber, the event relies on student volunteers, volunteer board members, and approximately 100 sponsors with room for more.

We’re incredibly lucky to have her leading the way as our Executive Director and even luckier to call her FAMILY!

Around here, we start ’em young! 🎣💙

From chasing their own spot on the leaderboard in our Salty Kids Division to all the fun waiting back at the marina in the Kids Zone, there’s plenty for our littlest anglers to look forward to during Rodeo weekend!

Because some of the best fishing traditions are the ones you get to pass down. And we sure love watching the next generation make Swollfest memories of their own!

Today, on World Cerebral Palsy Day, we're recognizing two very special members of the Swollfest family! 💚

Mollea Hood, our 2026 Inspirational Award Recipient, and Kenzi Burnside, our 2021 Inspirational Award Recipient, both live with Cerebral Palsy and hold a special place in the Swollfest community.

We've shared some pretty special moments with both Mollea and Kenzi over the years. From Kenzi continuing to join us in Grand Isle every Rodeo Weekend to getting to celebrate Mollea as this year's Inspirational Recipient, we're grateful for the friendships we've built with both of them and their families!

We're proud to stand alongside Mollea, Kenzi, and the millions of people living with Cerebral Palsy as we help bring greater awareness, understanding, and support to the CP community! 💚

Some Grand Isle love for some really good people. 💚

Our friends at Coastal Realty Group - Grand Isle Sales and Rentals have been part of the Swollfest family for years, always showing up for us and finding ways to help make Rodeo Weekend happen. We’re incredibly thankful for their friendship, generosity, and all they continue to do for Swollfest year after year.

And if you’re ever looking for a place to stay on the island, you know we’re sending you their way 😉 Give our friends at Coastal Realty a call and let the locals take care of you!
