The annual Swollfest Fishing Rodeo captures the heart and soul of South Louisiana, combining love of the outdoors, Gulf Coast fishing, compassion for those in need, and laissez les bons temps rouler, all for the sake of charity. Since 1997, this nonprofit organization holds its annual fishing tournament in Grand Isle, Louisiana, and raises funds to benefit charities serving children and veterans.

Swollfest is a 100% volunteer-run event, with 100% of proceeds donated to various charities and scholarships. Founded and run by Baton Rouge dentist Nick Rauber, the event relies on student volunteers, volunteer board members, and approximately 100 sponsors with room for more.

First time fishing for Mangrove Snapper... and he walks away with 1st Place! 🏆🎣

Congratulations to Hayden Jeffries Fishing of Team Down with the Sickness for taking the top spot in the Offshore Mangrove Snapper division with an impressive 10.8 lb. catch. Not a bad way to start fishing a new species!

Our 2026 Inspirational Award Recipient, Mollea Hood, isn't done making memories just yet! 💙

This fall, Swollfest is sending Mollea back out with our friends at Midnight Blue Bowfishing Charters & Alligator Hunts for a Louisiana alligator hunt!

After an unforgettable fishing trip together during Rodeo weekend, we can't wait to see what this next adventure has in store.

At its heart, Swollfest has never been "just a fishing rodeo."

It's a community coming together to make a difference!

Every registration, sponsorship, volunteer, and supporter plays a part in something much bigger than a weekend on the water. Together, we've been able to give back to individuals and organizations across our communities, proving year after year what can happen when people rally around a shared purpose!

The fishing brings us together. The mission is what keeps us going.
