😤 From ‘arrogant player’ to ‘humble referee,’ Andres “Andy” Fuentes has already made a name for himself in the Louisiana Soccer community.

😁 But don’t let that signature smile fool you, he’s not content. We caught up with the New Orleans-based official (👋 New Orleans Soccer Referees) at the US Youth Soccer National Championships, where he told us the goal: “to make it to the very top” of the officiating game!

💁 Congratulations to the 🔟 LA Select players chosen for the 2026 US Youth Soccer ODP | High Potential Players South Region Team.

🙌 Not only have these players been chosen as one of the top 18 players in the South in their respective age groups, but they’ve also been invited to the USYS ODP National ID events (“Interregionals”) in Orlando in November (girls) and January (boys). 👀

💪 There they will compete against the other 3 Region Teams and vie for a spot on their age group’s National Select team.
