The GDCA wants to pass along a message from the contractor leading the roadwork in the neighborhood:

"With our concrete ramp removal and replacement coming to an end, we will now turn to the major aspect of the job of removing the existing asphalt, then applying a new 2-inch lift of asphalt in its place. We’ve handed out flyers during our concrete work and will do so at each street prior to our work beginning. Once we are scheduled, residents will need to have their vehicles moved from the roadway by 8 am and can return at 5 pm. It's a slight inconvenience, but will expedite the process substantially. Please see our anticipated schedule below.

A message from our Association president:
We love the Wearing O’ the Green parade and look forward to it every year. However, the parking habits of our fellow parade-goers and their inability to adhere to “No Parking” signs can be a bit of an issue come parade day.

We are asking for volunteers.
If you live on Kleinert or Park and are willing and able, please put your trash or recycling can on the median by 5:00pm March 13th. We can use the metal handle to hold yellow “No Parking” tape and it will provide a convenient place for parade-goers to dispose of trash and hopefully cut back on post-parade day litter.

If you want to help rope off medians please meet at 5:00pm this Friday, the 15th at Kleinert and Perkins where GDCA Board members will be with the necessary supplies. We will then divide and conquer.

Thanks in advance to all who come out and help us keep the Garden District a beautiful place.
Sláinte!
Justin Kozak, GDCA President

This January we’re turning the 2nd Sunday of every month into a new Garden
District tradition. Starting at 2:00 pm, the City Park Croquet Course becomes our little
corner of fun, laughter, gentle competition, and community charm.
All ages, all abilities, all vibes welcome! Many of your board members will be out there ready to
teach, cheer, assist, and maybe even stir up a little friendly rivalry amongst your Garden
District neighbors.
So wear white (or don’t) and come enjoy an afternoon of fellowship, fresh air, and some deeply satisfying ball-whacking and wicket splitting.
See you on the lawn, friends!
The City Park Croquet Court is located at the corner of Park/Dalrymple and Magnolia Dr.
