Opening & Closing Night Galas - A celebratory fundraising dinner prior to the Opening and Closing Night performances of the Symphony. The Bal de la Symphonie - This black-tie event held after Thanksgiving to honor the senior class of Les Jeunes Amies de la Symphonie. These young ladies are seniors in area high schools and are daughters or granddaughters of League members. They join Les Jeunes Amies in their freshman year of high school. The mission of Les Jeunes Amies is to foster volunteerism and an appreciation of the symphony in these young ladies. If you are interested in corporate sponsorship of this event, please contact the Symphony League at the contact information listed below. Mad Hatter Luncheon - The annual Mad Hatter's Luncheon and fashion show is a very popular event in Baton Rouge and a long-standing tradition with the League.

Opening Night calls for a little something special. ✨🎶

Before the Baton Rouge Symphony takes the stage at 7:30pm- make an evening of it with Symphony Night Dinner at Stroubes on Thursday, September 17 — the perfect way to enjoy dinner and a show while supporting the Baton Rouge Symphony League.

For $55, enjoy a specially curated three-course dinner featuring your choice of Steak Diane, Louisiana Redfish, or Caper Salmon, followed by Stroubes’ famous seasonal bread pudding. The price includes tax, gratuity, non-alcoholic beverages, and a $10 donation to the Baton Rouge Symphony League. Complimentary champagne service is also available upon request. 🥂

Come early, settle in, enjoy a beautiful dinner, and toast to the start of another wonderful Symphony season.

Congratulations to our 17 senior members of Les Jeunes Amies de la Symphonie who were recently honored at the Baton Rouge Symphony League’s Fall Luncheon!

These remarkable young women have spent their high school years serving our community, assisting the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, supporting music education, and furthering the mission of the Baton Rouge Symphony League. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to celebrating them as they are presented at the Bal de la Symphonie on November 28.

🎀✨ BRSL Fall Luncheon 2026 ✨🎀

What a beautiful way to kick off an exciting new year with the Baton Rouge Symphony League! 💕 Our Fall Luncheon brought together friends old and new for an afternoon filled with sweet treats, wonderful fellowship, fabulous fashion, and plenty of excitement for all that’s ahead in our 2026–2027 season.

We were thrilled to welcome our newest Freshman class, celebrate our Seniors, and watch as the girls tried on their iconic white gloves and were fitted in preparation for the Bal de la Symphonie. 🤍✨

We also got down to a little BRSL business as we prepare to start the year strong—including the introduction of our new digital platform designed to keep our service projects, volunteer opportunities, events, and League happenings all beautifully connected throughout the season. 🎶

And can we talk about the STYLE?! 🌸💚🎀 Everyone arrived dressed to the nines in the happiest pops of color, while the sweetest pink pumpkins and darling details made the room feel perfectly festive.

Good friends, new faces, meaningful service, beautiful traditions, and an exciting year ahead… we couldn’t have asked for a better start! 🩷🎻✨

Day two of Symphony on the go was so much fun! It was percussion day. Our LJA‘s worked with campers to create shakers. It was so cool to find the differences in tones between rice, popcorn, and lima bean fillers. We made rain shower, rattlesnake, noises, and deep and scary footprint music. Kids showed off their rhythm with a “can you match me “activity. Thanks for all the campers and LJA’s for such a great day!

Day One of Symphony on the Geaux was a huge success!! Boys and Girls Clubs campers met our LJA’s and were introduced to the orchestra and seating for each section. Woodwinds were our focus today, and LJA Naomi Haymer shared her own experience, talent, and expertise in playing the flute. LJA’s helped campers to create cool pan flutes. Campers performed a fantastic concert sharing well known and original songs they played on the flutes. These kids have talent!

Our LJA’s were busy getting all the materials ready for Symphony on the Geaux. SOTG is held in partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Louisiana being held next week at The Inspiration Center. The girls assembled bags with school supplies, readied the activities, and packed it all up.

A special addition to the bags the campers will receive is the book is Light and Shadow’s Dreamy Adventures by Judith Vitanza-Kattan, donated by our main donor for Mad Hatters. Thanks to Ms. Vitanza-Kattan for this meaningful addition!
