Our Y family is grieving the heartbreaking loss of two very special members of our family, Kathy Pernell and Deputy Samuel Holmes.

Kathy Pernell was a longtime member of our Y staff whose beautiful smile and warm spirit could brighten any day. She touched so many lives during her years with us, and we are incredibly grateful for the time we were blessed to have her as part of our Y family.

Deputy Holmes was so much more than a member of our Y. He was a beloved friend and one of those special people who simply became family. His smile, kindness, and presence will be deeply missed by our staff and members alike.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn two people who meant so much to our Y and our community. Please keep their families, friends, coworkers, and everyone who loved them in your thoughts and prayers during the difficult days ahead.

Once part of the Y family, always part of the Y family. ❤️
