In 2023, Redefined Women’s Empowerment Inc. awarded its very first scholarships. Among that inaugural class of recipients was Cadence Brown, a proud graduate of Williston-Elko High School whose journey continues to inspire us.

After the heartbreaking loss of her father in 2021, Cadence chose perseverance over despair. She remained committed to her education, graduated from college, and has continued honoring her father’s legacy through the Change of Cadence Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to students who have experienced the loss of a loved one while pursuing their educational goals.

Here within Redefined Women’s Empowerment Inc., our mission has always been to invest in people who will one day make a difference in their communities. Cadence is a perfect example of that mission in action. She took one act of generosity and turned it into a lasting legacy of her own. Her commitment to serving students facing adversity reminds us that hope can be multiplied, and that one person’s story can inspire countless others.

Cadence is why we do what we do. She reminds us that scholarships are more than financial assistance; they are investments in people, purpose, and future generations.

Cadence, thank you for continuing to make a difference through the Change of Cadence Scholarship Fund. We are incredibly proud of all you have accomplished and grateful to witness the impact you continue to have on the lives of others.
