A Dollar & Change Ministry is currently raising funds to help two hardworking families in our community whose children are in need of beds. Between the two families, there are five children, including one teenager and four children between the ages of 5 and 6.

Our goal is to purchase:
• 1 Full Size Bed
• 4 Twin Beds
• Mattresses
• Bedding for each child

The total cost for all items is $1,022.

We are asking our community to come together and help meet this need so these families can continue working and providing for their children without carrying this financial burden alone. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps give these children a comfortable place to rest and call their own.

Some of our Dollar & Change crew is out serving today! We have the honor of installing a ramp for an older military retiree right here in our community.
Moments like this remind us what it’s all about, loving people like Jesus and showing up!
Thankful for a team that’s always willing to serve and give back.

We’re so grateful for the generosity that makes moments like this possible. Two washers and two dryers have been donated and are being prepared to serve families in our community!
We’re working to connect with local partners like The Well to help identify and reach those who need it most.

Today, 7 volunteers showed up to serve and clean the space where our Dollar & Change initiative operates.
This is where appliances are donated to bless families. This is where appliances are repaired, at no charge, for members of our community. And this is what your $1+ a week supports.
•It helps supply parts for repairs.
•It helps purchase heaters in the winter and window units in the summer.
•It helps alleviate financial burdens so families can move forward without the setback of a major appliance expense.
Real impact. Real people. Right here in Barnwell County.

Some of the great faces behind the mission. These guys met up early for a quick cup of coffee and then headed out to:
Pick up a ramp donated for a senior citizen who is currently using a walker and will soon be in a wheelchair. This gentleman loves going to church and has faithfully served our country. We will be raising funds for any materials needed to complete this ramp for our neighbor.

Pick up a hospital bed for another senior citizen who is kind, humble, and has never once breathed a complaint.
•
Pick up a washer as we continue working to elevate our county by helping alleviate the financial strain that comes with large appliance repairs and replacements.
•
These men serve as volunteers with the love and joy of Jesus. We are so thankful for their heart, their desire, and their willingness to step up and serve.
Every donation goes toward strengthening our community and making real change, one dollar at a time.

❄️ 10 Heaters. One Community. Real Impact. ❄️
This season, A Dollar & Change is partnering with local ministries like The Well and the Barnwell Ministerial Coalition to bless families in need.
As temperatures drop, no family should have to worry about staying warm. We already know of one family without heat and will be able to help with the funds on hand, and our prayer is to bless 10 families with space heaters.
Each heater costs $40–$50, and every dollar given helps meet an immediate need and prepares us for the colder months ahead.
Because of your $1+ steady weekly donations, just this month we’ve been able to:
✔️ Provide a dryer for a family
✔️ Repair a stove at no cost to another family
This is what generosity looks like in action.

Over the last year, we’ve proven together that even one dollar can create real change.
Today, we’re launching a new campaign to increase our partners. We want to grow from 34 to 100 units, and we can do it with your help! And the reason why is because we are making a huge impact in our town by pooling together.

✨ Celebrating Generosity! ✨
Through the Dollar & Change initiative, we’ve seen what God can do when many people give just $1 a week (with others stepping in with larger gifts when needs arise).

➡️ To date, $5,250.30 has allowed us to:
✔️ Repair or provide essential appliances (4 refrigerators, 4 washers, 5 dryers, 1 stove, 1 dishwasher)
✔️ Give 9 box fans, 6 space heaters, 2 window units, and 4 new tires
✔️ Supply 423 bottles of Gatorade to support our local athletes
✔️ Contribute over 400 total volunteer hours—with hours going in every week to repair, deliver, and install appliances in homes

34 donors + countless acts of love = big impact 💙

We are so excited to share that we were able to deliver 432 bottles of Gatorade this morning to the Barnwell High School football team thanks to the generosity of our amazing community! This donation will cover approximately 6 games for the team! Every dollar matters. Together, $1 a week and a few larger gifts added up to something amazing for these athletes.
