The SEE Program students visited BGE to get a hands-on look at one of Baltimore's largest employers. Under the theme "utility innovations at work", students learned everything that BGE does to keep the region powered, both on-the-ground and in the office. Thank you to BGE for hosting us!

Collegetown welcomed this year's SEE Program cohort this week! ✨️

Our externs went on a scavenger hunt with Collegetown, collaborated in workshops for money management, LinkedIn, resume boosting, networking, and thriving in professional environments, participated in service projects with Art With a Heart and Third Space, and met our program and community partners at our welcome lunch. It's going to be a great summer! ☀️

Do you regularly ride Local Bus, Metro Subway, Light Rail, Commuter Bus, or MARC Train? MTA is looking for riders like you to join their new Rider Experience Lab!

The MTA Rider Experience Lab is a new focus group program that enables MTA to test ideas to help shape improvements across MTA Bus, Light Rail, Metro Subway, MARC, and Commuter Bus services. Feedback gathered during these small-group sessions will be shared with MTA staff across departments.

The Collegetown Shuttle is going on break, too! Spring semester service will end on Saturday, May 16. Shuttle service will resume for the fall semester in late August. ⁠

Held in recognition of Trauma Awareness Month, BE READY MARYLAND is a large, statewide, family-friendly event focused on injury prevention, trauma awareness, and Stop the Bleed® training. The event will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Maryland State Police Aviation Headquarters at Martin State Airport.

Hosted in partnership with trauma centers across the state, the day will include free hourly Stop the Bleed® training sessions, fall prevention classes, a resource fair, and engaging educational activities for all ages. Each participant newly trained in Stop the Bleed® will receive a personal bleeding control kit, ensuring they are equipped with both the knowledge and the tools to respond in a life-threatening emergency.

Attendees can also expect food vendors, family-friendly activities and giveaways, participation from local fire and police departments, representation from a wide range of community organizations, and visits from Poe and the Oriole Bird.
