The Worthington Partnership Green Team, , and Worthington - The Library are teaming up for a community Produce Bag Sewing Night focused on reuse and sustainability.

Volunteers are invited to join us on Thursday, May 14 from 6–8 PM at CoHatch Worthington – The Library, located in the same building as Sew to Speak.

Together, participants will help create reusable produce bags to be distributed free at the farmers market to encourage sustainable shopping habits.

There will be several stations, including cutting, sewing, serging, and packaging, so volunteers of all skill levels can participate. All fabric has already been donated, but those planning to sew or serge are encouraged to bring their own machines and thread if possible.

Welcome to our 2026 Green on the Green participants! 🌎♻️

We’re excited to offer even more opportunities to reuse, recycle, and give items a second life during this year’s event.

Here’s what to bring:

🚲 Franklinton Cycle Works will be collecting donated bicycles, drop them at the NW village green!

📦 Local business The Making Room is partnering with Linworth student Green Team members for a cardboard challenge for all ages! Check the graphic for requested donation items.

🎲 Local middle school students will be hosting a game swap table, take one, leave one, play one!
