The Gouhin Family, Sean, Vanessa, Sean Michael, Harmon, and Chloe stopped in for lunch today at Mozart’s and donated bins and boxes of gently used LEGOs to Million LEGO for Kids, a charity organized by Mozart owner, Anand Saha. Their generosity means more students in Columbus City Elementary Schools will have new opportunities to learn via hands-on activities. Thank you so much!

If you’re looking to get off the midway and share fun and interesting activities with your kids while at the Ohio State Fair, stop by the Lausche Building and see the exhibits in the Technology and Engineering Showcase, which showcases the incredible STEM activities taking place in many of our middle and high schools. Million LEGO for Kids is pleased to loan LEGOs to the Showcase for kids who want to build and create while visiting this area, organized for the 10th year by the Ohio Technology and Engineering Educators Association.

Kelly Aitken shared these robot jousting pictures from Columbus Gifted Academy. These are great examples of how creative students can be with the gently used LEGOs provided by the supporters of Million LEGO for Kids. Thanks for sharing Kelly! While we have donated LEGOs to over 50 elementary schools in Columbus City Schools, there are many more that could benefit from your donations! Contact us today and we will pick up your donation.

Today we were pleased to donate LEGOs to the three elementary schools in the Whitehall School District. Art students at Beechwood, Etna, and Kae Elementary schools will be able to create, collaborate and build with the bricks we supplied. Although surrounded by Columbus Public Schools, Whitehall is its own district, with students as underserved as those in many of the nearby Columbus elementary schools. We’re so happy we could provide the Whitehall students with these valuable learning tools!
We have donated LEGOs to 42 of the73 Columbus Public elementary schools as well as the Whitehall elementaries and six after-school programs. We’ll be making more donations soon, thanks to our supporters who have recently donated to our efforts. We appreciate everyone’s support!

Thanks to our wonderful supporters, today we placed significant donations of LEGOs in six more Columbus City Schools elementary art classes. Students at Watkins, Cedarwood, Southwood, Seibert, Parsons, and Moler elementary schools will create wonderful projects during their LEGO days. We’ll post pictures of their efforts when possible. Thanks again to everyone who has donated LEGOS to Million LEGO For Kids!

Laura Maxwell Heald rewarded son Jack with a yummy dessert after he donated some of his collection of LEGOs to Million LEGO for Kids. Laura said it was hard for Jack to think about parting with his LEGOs until he found out they would be used by kids who may not have ever created and learned with them. Thanks Laura and Jack! Great way to move into the holiday season of giving!

"My son, Cole, will be turning 5 next month. Each year we choose a different charity, and ask friends and family to donate in lieu of presents. When we discovered your organization, my son was super excited to be able to donate Legos. After all, they are one of his favorite toys."
We were more than pleased to be the recipient of Cole’s generosity. Thank you, Cole. We will post pictures of classes who create and collaborate with your donations.

Hello, I am writing a long over due thank you for the donation of legos. The kids I work with in Whitehall City Schools love them and put their creative minds to work when using them. We appreciate your kindness. Here are some of the things the kids built. Feel free to share on your page. Thanks so much, Rita Valenzuela, School Social Worker.
